FAQ

  • This is a mental health comedy tour, that is backed by The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. While it started with sororities, it is now available to all college-aged students across the United States.

My name is Stephanie Foster, I'm a former sorority girl, and now a standup comic. After losing my best friend to suicide, I created a comedy tour about mental health that stops at sorority houses across the nation. We have comics from HBO, we're sponsored by Maybelline, and we bring an impactful message around suicide, which unfortunately is the second leading cause of death among college students.

At each stop, Stephanie and her guest comic of the week will perform standup comedy, give a mental health & suicide prevention talk that has been approved by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and record a live podcast with each group.

More about the guest comics — 100% will be female-identifying, 80% will be comics of color, and 80% will be from the LGBTQ+ community.

  • Stephanie has completed or is in the process of completing:

Certified Mental Health First Aider & Trainer

    Brave Talk Training — COMPLETE

We have the honor of being partnered with the:

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention reviewed, edited, and finalized the suicide prevention talk given at each stop

Crisis Text Line is added as a new contact in each attendee’s phone during the content

Maybelline has included us as part of their “Brave Together” effort for the last 2 years, which is in partnership with JED Foundation

  • At the end of the evening, you and your group will have the vocabulary, as well as colorful examples of how to talk about suicide. Additionally, every person in attendance will have the Crisis Text Line plugged into their phone as a new contact. Oh yeah, and did we mention our sponsors send tons of freebies?

Chief of Staff at Texas Tech University, Dailey Fuller, describes it, “This tour has the unique ability to connect with students on a critically important, deeply serious topic in an open, inclusive - and yes, funny - manner that’s making a much-needed impact.”

The President of a Tri Delta chapter, wants you to know, “DO IT!! Don’t think twice and just book them because you will not regret it! They brought laughter, sisterhood AND mental health discussion. What more could you ask for?!”

It’s a bonding moment, also — It’s a live, private, professional comedy show for just you and your group. And we’re recording a podcast, and y’all are the guests. Imagine recruiting next year and playing a podcast episode that just features your chapter!
